The idea behind this project was to find a place in Downtown Providence to become intimately familiar with and gather as much information as possible on. From the massive collection of research came this intimate hardbound book whose purpose is to aid the reader in becoming close with the space as I did through my extensive research and observation process.
The outside of the book is made to speak to the simple building material of brick left standing at the site, while the inside reveals the beauty of this forgotten place.
A simple table of contents directs the reader to the three sections within the book.
Each of these three sections is delineated by a simple but powerful page with a background image from the site.
